About the Position:

The role of Solution Engineer involves explaining RBS’ SaaS products to potential and existing clients with a focus on understanding client-specific use cases and recommending practical solutions to assist in client adoption. The successful candidate will play a key role in both the sales pipeline and client success program as we accelerate our growth of B2B revenue in the cyber security market. The position will work closely with Client Success and Sales & Marketing. Clients will normally be technical staff from a variety of industries including financial, technology, automotive, insurance, banking, and security services. 

Day-to-day tasks involve:

  • Understand the functionality of how our products work and how they are designed to solve a client’s problems

  • Learn how to extract a client’s use case and any pain points and then focus on solutions to help the client how the product solves that issue

  • Prepare and deliver product presentations (Demos) explaining products or services to clients and prospective clients and how each solves the client needs. 

  • Configure and manage Proof of Concept (Trial Accounts)

  • Solicit and document client feedback along with next steps from any client engagement

  • Confer with clients to assess implementation needs and to determine product support requirements 

  • Help clients solve implementation problems 

  • Respond to and resolve client submitted request and incident tickets and RBS-discovered issues

  • Work to ensure products are added to VulnDB monitoring processes consistent with client needs and licensing

  • Provide communications to clients regarding incidents/changes

  • Conduct analysis of tickets to identify problems that need root cause resolution, possibly through a development request

  • Develop product document and knowledge articles to assist clients with the use of RBS products

  • Contribute to team effort by communicating regularly with sales team, and colleagues from R&D, product design, client success, legal and senior management

  • Interpret customer requirements

  • Educate clients on how a product or service will best satisfy their needs

  • Offer after-sales support services

  • Learning the integrations between RBS products and other security tools developed/supported by RBS

 

What you must bring to the Job:

  • A solid SaaS product background

  • Fast learner on RBS products

  • Ability to ask questions, listen and gain client’s confidence

  • Webinar presentation skills

  • Sound judgement and good business sense

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • The ability to build relationships with clients quickly

  • Attention to detail and the ability to read between the lines

  • Self-motivation with experience working independently with a great deal of autonomy

  • Ability to work to a schedule in a fast pace environment

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to ask for help when needed

  • Easy to work with and flexible

  • Willingness to work with global clients across other time zones

  • Basic experience with commonly used scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, PHP, etc.

 

What would be great to have:

  • Cyber Security Product experience

  • College Degree

  • Experience in a CRM tool such as Zendesk Sell or Amity

  • Experience with WebEx or similar screen-sharing tools
